Our Story

Hi, everyone! We are Kayla and Drew, the heart behind Kalew Karpentry (and the origin of our name: Kayla + Drew = Kalew). Married in December 31, 2021, we have been dating and woodworking together for over 2 years. Drew began woodworking in high school, and dreamed of owning his own woodworking business ever since.

We both love learning the skills to make new and fun furniture pieces that stand out as forms of beautiful and functional art. Our products are all handmade to order, and each piece is filled with care to ensure quality, longevity, and beauty.
